Mapocho river

Spaces of the waria that tell us about transit, mobility, fractures and possible (re)connections. We met with the silent but significant presence of 'this Mapocho that is called a river, the Seine of Santiago, but with willows', running down the hillsides and through the urban space and its wounds. The broken, dark and indigenous Mapocho guided us in a collage and bricolage work that recognizes and deconstructs urban and social segregations of Santiago and its urban spaces.
